DEFINITION

This qualified generic field specifies:

STAT

Statement Number

Sequential number assigned to the statement.

USAGE RULES

If the statement has multiple pages, the Statement Number must remain the same through all the pages. It is a unique reference to the Statement.

Two statements of the same type sent one after the other to the same Receiver in relation to the same Safekeeping Account must have different Statement Numbers. Eg, a daily statement sent on day 1 would have statement number 13A::STAT//001, on day 2, :13A::STAT//002 ...
